Christine Mackey-Ross offers Witt/Kieffer Ccentric's clients a unique blend of experience and expertise. Christine’s career, prior to joining the firm in 1995, included multiple roles in nursing administration and experience as an oncology clinical nurse specialist and executive recruiter.
During her 20 years in executive search, Christine has led and completed multiple search assignments for C-suite executives in all sectors of healthcare, including integrated delivery systems, academic medical centres, community hospitals and group practices.
Christine now serves as a Director of Witt/Kieffer Ccentric as well as Managing Partner for Witt/Kieffer’s Central region and Practice Leader for the firm’s work in physician integration and leadership. She has also served three terms on Witt/Kieffer’s Board of Directors.
Her areas of expertise span positions such as CMO, Chief Clinical Integration Officer, Chief Quality Officer, along with more traditional positions such as department chair or service line chief. Christine is often involved in projects where organisations may wish to include physician candidates in the CEO search process. In addition to her work with physician leaders, Christine conducts traditional C-suite searches for roles such as CEO, COO and CFO. With her clinical background, she is often requested for the most senior nursing searches.
Christine is a frequent speaker at educational sessions including state hospital associations and professional meetings. Her experiences give her an exceptionally strong understanding of healthcare issues and trends within the acute care environment and the traits and skill sets that today’s executives need to lead healthcare organisations.

Wayne Bruce entered the executive search industry in 1992, spending his first 10 years with Lyncroft Consulting, and then founding Ccentric Group in 2001. He epitomises the role of a trusted advisor, and is known for integrity and candour in dealing with both clients and candidates. He has a wealth of experience built up over more than 20 years in executive search.
In founding both Ccentric in Australia and Witt/Kieffer Ccentric, Wayne’s vision was to build a firm with a pre-eminent and differentiated value proposition; known for providing exceptional executive search services to the healthcare, life science and academic sectors. He has personally led hundreds of successful searches in Australia & New Zealand, Asia and the United Kingdom; spoken at several international healthcare conferences in the Asia-Pacific region; and acted for the Family Court of Australia as an Expert Witness for Healthcare Remuneration.
Wayne began his career in executive search with Lyncroft Consulting, and played a key role in building it to be the largest privately owned, national executive recruitment firm in Australia. During this time, he held a variety of senior positions including Executive Director, Group Business Development and Chief Operating Officer, and became an Equity Partner and Board Director of the company. He had responsibility for over 100 staff in five states of Australia. He is particularly proud of leading the firm’s successful bid with the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (SOCOG) to be appointed as the Official Provider of Staffing Services for senior management positions for the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000.
Wayne spent the first decade of his career in human resources and general management roles in healthcare. He managed a large Commonwealth Government rehabilitation centre in Melbourne, and then held senior roles with the Victorian Accident Rehabilitation Council, an occupational rehabilitation provider servicing a range of clients in the corporate sector.

Natalie joined Ccentric Group's UK office in 2009 and during 2015 became the General Manager of Witt/Kieffer Ccentric’s operations in the United Kingdom and mainland Europe.
She has partnered with a range of UK-based clients in healthcare and higher education to conduct local and global executive searches for leadership positions in the executive, clinical and academic arenas. Natalie has worked with UK based clients including Durham University, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation NHS Trust, King’s College London, Newcastle University, the University of Glasgow,the University of Liverpool, the University of Manchester, and the University of Oxford.
She has partnered on a range of international searches for clients based outside the UK. These include Alfred Health, Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute, Burnet Institute, George Mason University, International SOS, Melbourne Health, Monash University, St Vincent’s Health Australia, the University of Melbourne and the University of New South Wales.
Natalie completed her Bachelor of Nursing degree in 1994 and started her professional life as a general surgical nurse in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she gained exposure to UK and Europe. Subsequent roles in Australia and the United Kingdom included neurosciences nursing at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London, an internationally recognised centre of excellence.
Building on her 16 years clinical and professional experience in health, she focused on human resources when developing innovative undergraduate and postgraduate training programs while working with St Vincent’s and Mercy Private Hospital in Melbourne. She returned to the UK in 2006 and successfully ran her own healthcare recruitment business before joining Witt/Kieffer Ccentric.
