We are seeking a Head of Marketing and Student Recruitment for our Malaysia campus, who will promote and enhance our brand and reputation, from market strategy to hands-on delivery of promotional campaigns and high-profile events. Critically, you will make a real difference to student recruitment at our Malaysia campus and a significant contribution to the wider global university.

A key member of the senior management team at the campus, you will report to the Malaysia Campus Chief Operating Officer and will have a strong functional link to the Directors of Marketing and Communication and Student Recruitment based in the UK. Leading a team of 15 people, you will develop and deliver brand-led marketing and recruitment campaigns that cost-effectively target potential students, drive enquiries and generate applications that your team will convert into enrolled students. This will include digital campaigns and recruitment through building strong links with all the campus stakeholders, from governmental agencies and alumni to professional bodies, industry and commerce and others. You will also enhance the reputation and brand of Heriot-Watt University in Malaysia through effective management of the media / social media and the delivery of high impact corporate events and VIP visits.

You will have relevant, demonstrable experience of marketing and / or university student recruitment, with a proven track record of delivering brand-led marketing / customer acquisition campaigns and related activities, ideally within a large, complex, global organisation.
